ABOUT THE PROJECT

For our client Salus d.d., we have developed the Salus TMS application, which aims to systematise and simplify the dispatch, delivery and claims system. The application is a hybrid, built on the Ionic platform using the Angular framework.

Back-end system, which also includes a web interface for managing the transport system, is built in the Laravel framework. A complex data synchronisation is implemented between the API and the application, which allows the application to run even in offline mode. When the connection is re-established, the data is synchronised to the server.

The scanner is used by delivery drivers to quickly and efficiently read the code of the transport unit, while at the same time the data of the delivery order is transferred from the server to the device. This eliminates the need to fill in various forms, both when loading the transport units and when delivering them. The customer confirms receipt of the shipment by signing on the device itself, and the back-end system then generates all the necessary documents, which are then sent to the customer by e-mail.

GPS vehicle tracking is also implemented through the application, which simplifies the creation of travel orders, while at the same time providing the exact location of each vehicle to the back-end system. With this information, delivery routes and delivery times can be planned more accurately.
