Celje Pharmacies are the fourth largest public institution in the field of pharmacy services in Slovenia. We provide pharmacy services across fourteen municipalities in the Savinja region. The institution holds the responsibility of ensuring equal access to pharmacy services for the residents of all founding municipalities and, through this, plays a role in shaping local healthcare plans in each municipality. Celje Pharmacies consist of employees who understand that results must be achieved under increasingly demanding conditions, both locally and globally.
Pharmacies must meet high standards regarding personnel, facilities, and equipment, for which we allocate significant funds each year. To maintain and improve our results in the future, further investment in pharmacy infrastructure will be necessary, including the hiring of additional staff (especially pharmacists with a master’s degree in pharmacy), and greater investment in the knowledge and skills of employees. We already meet the criteria of a learning organization. Increased competition, price-cutting pressures, and tightened legislation limit our business performance. On the other hand, these challenges encourage and stimulate greater creativity among employees. Therefore, a key focus is the strategy for human resource development, the organizational culture and climate within the institution, and motivation factors. Sustainable development, social responsibility, and ecological awareness are becoming our constant priorities.
Pharmacy services are a healthcare activity that provides professionals, facilities, and technical resources to deliver comprehensive, high-quality, and ethical information, knowledge, and services related to medications and treatment. They also support other measures aimed at maintaining health and improving the quality of life for users, in line with the highest standards and advancements in pharmaceutical and other health sciences. Pharmacists in pharmacies are among the most accessible healthcare service providers and indispensable members of healthcare teams in maintaining and restoring people’s health.
ABOUT PROJECT
For Celje Pharmacies, we supplied the hardware (access points and price labels) necessary to equip their branches with the SES-imagotag electronic shelf label (ESL) system.
An Electronic Shelf Label (ESL), also known as an e-label or digital price tag, is a way of displaying prices and additional information using E-ink technology.
E-ink display technology is ideal for electronic shelf labels in retail settings, as it offers extremely low power consumption, very wide viewing angles, mono or 4-color display options, and paper-like readability under all lighting conditions.
Electronic shelf labels offer retailers the ability to quickly and efficiently update content wirelessly without the need to print paper labels and replace them manually.
